Former top-ranked Ukrainian player Angelina Kalinina has concluded her performances at the prestigious tennis tournament in Cincinnati, USA.

The 26-year-old Ukrainian lost in the Round of 16 in three sets to the fifth-ranked player in the world, Ons Jabeur.

Western & Southern Open - WTA 1000 Angelina Kalinina (Ukraine) – Ons Jabeur (Tunisia) – 3:6, 7:6, 6:7.

The match lasted for 2 hours and 44 minutes. During this time, the Ukrainian tennis player executed two aces, committed 13 double faults, and converted 6 out of 12 break points.

It's worth noting that this was the second encounter between the two players. The head-to-head record now stands at 2-0 in favor of the Tunisian representative.

Earlier, two more Ukrainian representatives exited the tournament in Cincinnati. Elina Svitolina withdrew from the competition before her first-round match against Caroline Wozniacki due to injury, and Marta Kostyuk lost in the first round to Italy's Jasmine Paolini.
