Most likely, the Russians themselves blew up the bridge, a Kherson journalist notes.
Antonovsky bridge, connecting the right and left banks of Kherson, was allegedly blown up.
The consequences of the explosion are published by Russian propagandists. On the published footage, part of the roadbed of the Antonovsky Bridge is missing, several bare supports are visible.
Kherson journalist Konstantin Ryzhenko writes that the bridge was blown up by the Russians with the preliminary mining: "Judging by the nature of the damage, the Russians blew it up. Artillery cannot do this, this is mining."
The Antonovsky bridge was the main logistical route for the transfer of equipment and ammunition to the grouping of enemy troops on the right bank of the Kherson region. During active offensive operations, the Armed Forces of Ukraine regularly hit the bridge in order to damage the supply of the RF Armed Forces and the defensive potential of the enemy.
