The Russian invaders have plans to attack Kharkiv, but a number of objective reasons prevent them from implementing it.

The adviser announced this to the head of the President's Office Alexey Arestovich in an interview with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin.

According to him, Kharkiv, as well as the whole of Ukraine, maybe threatened only by shelling in the nearest future, but the occupiers will not be able to carry out a full-scale offensive

"I can say that the plans to attack Kharkiv do not mean their implementation … Taking Kharkiv is a task that cannot be solved. The offensive was postponed three times because there was a regrouping of troops in an attempt to make something out of combat because there is so much salt that it takes either Napoleon's genius or two weeks of the reserve to form something capable of attack. "

According to him, now there are units of the Russian Guard, paratroopers, marines - and they are all in a different condition; some came out of the battle with losses, some have just arrived from Russia. In the current state of Russian troops in the Kharkiv direction, Arestovich sees no opportunities for a massive offensive.
