The Russian military seeks to inflict maximum losses on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson direction.

Aleksey Arestovich, the adviser to the President's Office, stated this on Feigin LIVE. According to him, with “insignificant” disinformation about leaving positions, Russia tried to drag our troops into the Kherson bridgehead.

“Their task is to inflict maximum losses on us in the Kherson direction, to make the operation so bloody that any transfer of efforts to another direction would be impossible for two or three months,” he said.

However, Arestovich added that the Russians are already preparing the population for "difficult decisions", particularly for leaving Kherson.

“They accustom their population, the internal audience, to difficult decisions. Surovikin started first, then Stremousov, then someone else will be found. They are accustoming their population to the fact that Kherson will be abandoned after eight months of retention. And the responsibility will be on the local authorities, Surovikin is a collaborator. That is, it was not the Russian troops that did not hold back, but all because of Surovikin. The one who speaks is always to blame," - added the adviser to the head of the OP.
