The Varta 2 armored vehicle has completed the codification process and is ready for serial production.

This was announced by the company Ukrainian Armored Vehicles.

The domestic wheeled vehicle can be equipped with a turret or a combat module.

The manufacturer reported that the Varta 2 armored vehicle has passed all necessary tests, completed the codification process, and received approval for delivery to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Vladyslav Belbas, CEO of Ukrainian Armored Vehicles, said the company is ready to start serial production of the armored vehicle. According to him, there is currently a demand for this class of equipment at the front lines.

“Since the initial presentation of the prototype until today, we have received many inquiries from the military regarding the ‘Varta 2,’ which indicates a high demand for armored vehicles of this class on the front,” Belbas noted.

The CEO added that, besides speed, the vehicle offers a high level of protection.

“In addition to speed and mobility, which are essential in modern warfare, the ‘Varta 2’ has a high level of protection. The payload capacity that allows integration of a combat module gives the ‘Varta 2’ unprecedented firepower for its class, necessary to support infantry and destroy enemy armored vehicles,” Belbas said.

Ukrainian Armored Vehicles codified versions of the Varta 2 equipped both with a turret and a combat module.
