Ukraine will liberate Crimea, temporarily occupied by Russia since 2014, by the end of August, provided that Western partners continue to provide assistance to it and maintain sanctions against the aggressor country.
This forecast was made by Former Commanding General USArmyEurope Ben Hodges, who actively comments on the course of the war in Ukraine. He wrote this on his Twitter.
At the same time, he stressed that the liberation of Crimea could happen even earlier if our state is provided with long-range high-precision weapons.
Hodges also retweeted a map showing the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine as of the end of 2022, noting that "this is all that Russia controls after 8 years and with all the advantages."
