He stated that he was not afraid of the nuclear threats of Russian propagandists.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said the world would be better without Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He spoke about this in an interview with Bild. A journalist asked him about a possible world without a Russian dictator. “Without hesitation and without compromise, the world without Putin would be better,” said the head of the German Defense Ministry.

Boris Pistorius took over as Defense Minister in January 2023. He is a party member of Chancellor Olaf Scholz of the Social Democratic Party. February 7, he first arrived in Ukraine. Pistorius met with President Volodymyr Zelensky and handed over a Leopard 2 toy tank to Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.

Commenting on the threats of Russian propagandists about nuclear strikes against German targets, Pistorius said: "One is what goes on inside, and the other is what goes on in propaganda. After all, none of us know what Putin is doing, but that shouldn't stop us from providing reasonable support with our allies," - he said.

According to Pistorius, talking confidently about the return of Crimea and the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions under the control of Ukraine now is like looking into a crystal ball.

"Ukraine is fighting incredibly bravely. They have excellent soldiers. We must continue to support Ukraine to the best of our ability," he added.
