In March, Brave1, Ukraine’s defense innovation cluster, will conduct a US Roadshow — a two-week investment tour across several American cities aimed at presenting Ukrainian drone technologies and defense tech solutions to U.S. venture capital funds, corporations, family offices, and policymakers.
The United States remains a key global market for defense technologies, combining large-scale venture capital with established industrial and institutional partnerships. For Ukrainian defense startups, access to this ecosystem is critical for scaling production, accelerating R&D cycles, and entering long-term strategic cooperation.
During the Roadshow, Ukrainian teams will present technologies that are already deployed in real combat conditions. According to Brave1, Ukraine’s defense tech ecosystem now includes thousands of companies and solutions, with up to 95% of battlefield engagements relying on domestically developed technologies.
What the US Roadshow includes
The program will run for two weeks and feature:
- investment demo days, where Ukrainian manufacturers will pitch their companies and technologies;
- closed meetings with U.S. venture funds, corporations, and family offices;
- visits to U.S. manufacturing and infrastructure facilities, enabling direct engagement with production and supply-chain partners.
For American investors and defense manufacturers, the Roadshow offers direct exposure to technologies shaped by modern, high-intensity warfare — including drones, counter-drone systems, and other defense innovations developed under constant operational pressure.
Scaling Ukraine’s defense tech ecosystem
Brave1 positions the Roadshow as part of a broader effort to internationalize Ukraine’s defense innovation ecosystem. Foreign investment is expected to support faster production scaling, deeper technological specialization, and shorter iteration cycles between development and deployment.
