The CinemAid Ukraine Charity Film Marathon started in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia: the lyrical comedy "My Thoughts are Silent" directed by Antonio Lukich was shown at the Nadiya City Institute of Culture on April 18.

The event was opened by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Bulgaria Iryna Kozik (online), Marina Kuderchuk, the Head of the State Cinema, and Irma Vitovska-Vantsa, a well-known actress and lead actress in the film "My Thoughts Are Silent". Today, April 19, at 6:30 p.m., viewers will see Oleksandr Berezan's musical comedy "Noble Tramps".

All funds raised from the screenings will be used to provide technical support for the film expedition to film the life and struggle of Ukrainians for freedom during the war from the famous film community "Yellow Bus".

The event is held under the auspices of the Embassy of Ukraine in Bulgaria with the support of Sofia City Hall, Nadiya City Cultural Institute and the Union of Ukrainian Organizations "Mother Ukraine". The co-organizers on the Ukrainian side are Kyivkinofilm and the Watch Ukrainian! Association.
