In 2025, capital investments in Ukraine amounted to 893.6 billion UAH, which is 20.3% higher than in 2024.
These data were published by the State Statistics Service.
According to the agency, more than one-third (36.6%) of total capital investment was directed to industry (327.1 billion UAH), 12.0% (107.3 billion UAH) to agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, 9.5% (84.8 billion UAH) to transport and warehousing, and 7.9% (70.3 billion UAH) to public administration and defense.
The majority of investments were concentrated in tangible assets — 95.1% of the total volume. In particular, the largest shares went to machinery, equipment, and inventory (36.1%), engineering structures (20.8%), and non-residential buildings (14.3%).
The main portion of capital investments (73.3%) was directed toward the acquisition and creation of new assets.
The leading regions in terms of capital investment were Kyiv city — 333 billion UAH (37.3%) and Dnipropetrovsk region — 87 billion UAH (9.7%).
