Russia is not involving mercenaries from South Korea directly in combat in the Kursk region. Instead, the aggressor country keeps them in the second echelon.
This was reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNR).
According to the information source, North Korean soldiers have been assigned to the 11th Air Assault Brigade. As of now, they are being used for duty at observation points and checkpoints. Additionally, they are guarding areas where enemy troops are concentrated.
"However, mercenaries are not currently involved in direct combat operations," the report says.
The CNR noted that, in fact, the recruitment of North Korean military personnel has allowed the Kremlin to pull more Russians from their positions and send them to the front lines.
The Center for National Resistance also urged people to continue passing along any information that could be useful for the Ukrainian Defense Forces to successfully counter the Russian forces.
