Engineers from Compass Engineering have developed and delivered advanced solutions to mobile fire groups of the State Border Guard Service, enabling detection of Shaheds at distances up to 5 kilometers for appropriate response, as stated in the company's press release.
According to the announcement, the solution features a technological thermal imaging device with a screen that can be used on any mobile or stationary platform as a sighting device. According to Mykola Lushchyk, Head of the Communication and Information Systems Department of State Border Guard Service, such solutions represent another step in the development of enemy air target detection, allowing mobile fire groups to detect and accordingly neutralize threats at greater distances.
"The implementation of this development will contribute to higher effectiveness in hitting enemy targets and improve our defense capability. The system shows good results in information display, adequate speed of management, and smooth positional changes during rotation. The mobile fire groups highlight its convenience in use," notes Mykola Lushchyk.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have been developing solutions for technological equipment for both separate brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service. Adapting our operational profile has allowed us to respond promptly to military requests and assist them with current needs," adds Vitaliy Rozdobudko.
