The Czech initiative "Gift for Putin" has announced a fundraising campaign for the purchase of a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter for the warriors of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In the first week, compassionate Czechs and Slovaks donated over 400,000 euros, exceeding the total cost of approximately 4.3 million euros. According to the organizers, the helicopter has already been inspected by Ukrainian aviation experts, confirming its good condition and readiness for combat missions. Once the necessary funds are collected, the Czech Ministry of Defense will deliver the Black Hawk to Ukrainian intelligence.
The Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine already has one such helicopter in its aviation fleet, assisting in various combat and special missions, delivering military cargo and personnel, engaging in electronic warfare, and evacuating the wounded.
Previously, as part of the "Gift for Putin" initiative, Czechs donated funds for the purchase of 15 Viktor air defense systems, a T-72 tank, and RM-70 multiple rocket launchers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, totaling 2.3 million dollars.
Gratitude is expressed to our friends in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as to all citizens of European states who are helping to repel the terrorist onslaught from Moscow, defend Ukraine, and protect the entire united Europe from the regime of Russian war criminals.
