Israeli military observer David Sharp in an interview with Unian, commented on the "leakage" of documents on the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The leak of "secret" Pentagon documents did not harm the plans of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Information of American intelligence in the public domain alarmed the US defense department.
âThe mass leak of documents mainly concerns the Russian-Ukrainian war, however, not only. There, in particular, Israel will be affected, by South Korea. Many people got it. Of course, this is not a deliberate leak of the Pentagon, I am categorically against such conspiracy theories. on the part of some Pentagon employee, this is how it looks, but obviously not acting according to the order from above. They are highly alarmed by what happened: this caused serious damage to the American intelligence community, methods of collecting information and will cause some friction with US allies, because sensitive information has been published, including about how the Americans conduct intelligence activities concerning them," said Israeli military commentator David Sharp.

In his opinion, no damage was done to the plan of Ukraine's offensive against Russia at the front.
âUnless something new and exciting comes up, I donât think it has done really serious damage. There is a lot of information about Ukraineâs needs and how Ukraine is preparing for a counteroffensive in open sources. Same pace supplies of weapons, the number and terminology in general terms are already known, especially to Russian intelligence," Sharp said.
At the same time, he recalled that the intelligence of the Russian Federation has all kinds of technical and undercover capabilities.
"It's no secret that they are strong enough in Ukraine. They were strong before the war and are relatively strong now. Therefore, everything that is known to very many people, even being top secret, is known to one degree or another by the Russian command," the expert summed up.
