Russian forces have recently concentrated their activity on the Dobropillia sector in Donetsk region, in particular on the Rodynske–Bilytske stretch, reports the OSINT project DeepState.
According to the project’s Telegram channel, the Russian troops are “actively pressing on Rodynske, gradually increasing their control over the settlement and infiltrating deeper into the territory using their usual tactics.”
“Such infiltration is also observed in the direction of Bilytske, which plays an important role in the area and serves as a potential logistics point and a base for further advancement,” the report says.
It is also noted that several settlements south of Dobropillia are important for the Russian army, but at present the Defense Forces are making maximum efforts to prevent these plans from being realized.
“Ukrainian soldiers are fighting enemy infantry that is exerting intense pressure, but another threat to defense is the large number of enemy drones of various types — FPV, Lancet, Molniya, Shahed, Mavic, etc.,” DeepState reported.
The project states that the Russian forces continues to actively move its forces into the occupied cities of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, applies pressure on the urban agglomeration, and is trying to increase control over the area.
According to the project’s maps, Russian forces advanced over the past two days not only near Rodynske, but also in the suburbs of Kostiantynivka, increasing the total occupied area by 4.74 square kilometers. The “gray zone” in this area expanded by another 4.95 square kilometers over the same period.
The Russian forces are pressing on Kostiantynivka from the south and east, advancing in its suburbs.
Earlier, DeepState reported that Russian forces had reached the outskirts of Kostiantynivka from all directions and are actively applying pressure and infiltrating deeper into the settlement. They are also turning the city into a continuous ruin. According to the project, the Russian forces are trying to reach the “neck” of Kostiantynivka in its northern part and cut off the entire central and southern sections from normal supply routes.
