Ukraine's Air Force reports via Telegram that 52 Russian drones have been shot down, while another 50 unmanned aerial vehicles were lost from radar tracking.

On the night of December 2, 2024, starting at 7:00 PM on December 1, Russia launched a massive aerial attack from Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. A total of 110 attack drones, including Shahed models and others, targeted Ukraine.

Air defense units, including anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Air Force and Defense Forces, worked to repel the assault.

As of 8:30 AM, 52 drones were confirmed destroyed in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. An additional 50 drones were lost from radar, likely due to electronic warfare interference by Ukrainian forces. Six drones exited Ukrainian airspace, heading toward Russia and Belarus, while one was destroyed mid-air.
