The Ministry of Defense of Denmark concluded an agreement with Norway on the joint transfer of 8,000 artillery shells to Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Denmark

"Ukrainians will continue to have a great and urgent need for ammunition to fight for freedom against Russia. Together with other EU and NATO countries, Denmark is preparing various military aid. Our cooperation with Norway is an important example of this," said the Minister of Defense of Denmark, Troels Lund Poulsen.

The cooperation between the countries means that the Danish industry will assemble Norwegian 155mm artillery shells with compatible Danish metallic charges, fuses and fuze tubes into complete artillery shells. After that, they are handed over to the defense of Ukraine.

"Ukraine is in great need of artillery ammunition, and we are contributing as much as we can. For the security of Europe and Norway, Ukraine must succeed in resisting Russia's attack," Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram emphasized.

The Danish Ministry of Defense believes that the ammunition will be able to use the Danish CAESAR artillery installations, which the Danish Parliament decided to transfer to Ukraine at the beginning of the year.
