Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal held a meeting in Kyiv with Slovenia’s Minister of Defense Borut Sajovic.
The head of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry thanked Slovenia for its support across all key areas, including participation in the PURL initiative.

The delegations focused on ways to develop cooperation. They discussed the potential for joint industrial projects within the European EDIP and SAFE initiatives, as well as under the “Danish model.”
“We are ready to share experience in using interceptor drones, deepstrike, and other types of UAVs,” emphasized Ukraine’s Minister of Defense.
Additionally, the parties discussed the possibility of providing training weapons for Ukrainian soldiers, as well as directing Russian frozen assets to support Ukraine’s defense.
