Restoring Ukraine is an important area of economic diplomacy. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine in Zakarpattia region.

The event was held under the slogan "Victory Above All!" under the leadership of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with the participation of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba.

The Head of Government reminded that two Recovery Conferences had already been held (in Lugano and London), as well as a number of forums and events dedicated to this issue.

"The next Conference will be held in Germany. It should become a platform where we will turn the agreements into practical results," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of interregional cooperation and cited the example of Denmark, which had already invested more than USD 20 million in the rapid recovery of Mykolaiv region.

"More than 300 territorial communities have signed 1,500 partnership agreements with almost 60 countries. But it is crucial to consolidate patronage not only at the community level, but also at the country-region, country-region level," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
