Developers from other countries will be able to use the code of the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services to create their own applications.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
"Now developers from other countries will be able to use the Diia code and create their own applications based on it. Foreign colleagues will see how high-quality state products we are creating," the statement said.
The corresponding Procedure for using the software of the mobile application of the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers during the meeting on February 13.
As Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Education, Science, and Technology Development - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized, with open-source code and documentation, Ukraine will be able to quickly export Diia to other countries.
Most developers of top applications worldwide use open data because it helps develop and scale the product.
At the same time, the ministry insists that opening access to the application code will not affect the security of Ukrainians' data since a test environment will be created without access to the registries with simulation of information retrieval, so Ukrainian data will remain completely safe.
