Ukraine has won the international competition European Enterprise Promotion Awards 2022 (EEPA) for the first time. The project of the Ministry of Digital Transformation was awarded in the category "Supporting the Internationalization of Business".
"The Government, together with partners, is implementing a number of large-scale programs and providing grants for entrepreneurs throughout Ukraine so that no one is left behind. The Diia.Business project is highly inclusive, and the people who work with us are true visionaries. We are grateful to our foreign and domestic partners for their ongoing support, which is so important for us in this difficult time. The EEPA award means a lot to us, because the Diia.Business project has a high goal - to make life easier for entrepreneurs and support them under any circumstances," said Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeriia Ionan.
The EERA Award is annually bestowed to organizations and projects that promote entrepreneurship and small business at the national, regional and local levels. This year, about 200 projects from 26 countries competed for the award in six categories.
In October, the second stage of the EERA competition took place, where the European jury selected a shortlist of the best projects. The three finalists in the nomination "Supporting the Internationalization of Business" included projects from Ukraine, Sweden and Estonia.
It is worth reminding that Diia.Business is a national project for the development of entrepreneurship and exports, created by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and implemented by the state institution Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office.
