The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine opened an art exhibition of Ukrainian wartime posters created by Ukrainian artists during Russiaâs full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
âFor many years, the Ministry or Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has utilized its walls to communicate Ukraineâs messages of the day to foreign guests who visit the ministry using paintings, photography, sculpture, and other forms of art. We have decided that itâs time to exhibit Ukrainian wartime posters nowâ, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said.Â
Minister added that the exhibition will remind international guests who visit the ministry of Ukraineâs defence from Russiaâs full-scale invasion.Â
Art pieces have been provided by the Sunseed ART project which is aimed to popularize Ukrainian poster art for a wider audience, including the foreign one. Posters can be purchased online, with the funds transferred to support Ukrainian artists and the Armed Forces of Ukraine: until the day of victory, 10% of them will be transferred to the âCome Back Aliveâ fund to support the Ukrainian army.
âUkrainian artists quickly became the powerful cultural front of Ukraine designing war posters since the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian people's rage became their art. Art is the language that helps us grieve and communicate our losses to the world, but also creates empathy and understanding of the values we defend, pictures the future we want to build togetherâ, â says Nataliia Popovych, investor and co-founder of the Sunseed ART platform.
âI am grateful to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this opportunity and support, because our goal is to spread Ukrainian art around the world. Ukraine is a country of creativity, a country of talented people, this is our strength and our great potential. Our platform aims to constantly replenish the collection and open new names of talented Ukrainian artists, as well as to support them and Ukraine during this terrible warâ, â says Olesya Drashkaba, co-founder of the platform.
All posters are available at the projectâs website https://sunseed-art.com and Instagram page  https://www.instagram.com/sunseed_gallery/ShareTweetPrint.
