Ukrainian Navy spokesperson, Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, stated that the Russian Black Sea Fleet lacks missile carrier ships with universal launch systems capable of deploying Oniks and Tsirkon missiles.

"This can be considered a positive for us, as the Black Sea Fleet does not have missile carriers with universal launchers—like the 'Oniks' and 'Tsirkon.' Instead, they rely on older models," Pletenchuk said during a live broadcast.

Additionally, he noted that the geographical location of Novorossiysk Bay poses challenges for navigation during stormy conditions.

"The closed Bosporus is also a significant problem for them, affecting not only their operations in the Azov-Black Sea region but also the activities of their permanent operational group in the Mediterranean, where they are based in Tartus," the spokesperson added.
