Drones attacked a UAV production plant of the Shahed type in Yelabuga (Tatarstan, Russia), as well as a chemical enterprise in the Ivanovo region.
This was reported on Telegram by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.
According to him,
“despite enemy attacks, unknown drones attacked Yelabuga in Russia, where Shaheds are produced, as well as a chemical enterprise in the Ivanovo region, which creates components for Russian equipment and weapons, including missiles.”
The Yelabuga drone factory, located in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, was established in 2023 to produce the Russian version of the Iranian Shahed 136 UAV, known as Geran-2. The plant has been involved in the assembly of these drones, which have been used in attacks on Ukraine.
