Since the beginning of 2024, DTEK has invested nearly UAH 2 billion of its own funds into the repair and restoration of heat power plants damaged by Russian shelling.
This was reported by the company's press service.
It is noted that, in preparation for the upcoming heating season, DTEK energy workers continue to intensively repair and restore the capacities of heat power plants that were damaged and destroyed during the enemy’s massive attacks on the energy sector.
According to preliminary data, from January to July of this year, the company invested nearly UAH 2 billion of its own funds in the repair of thermal power plants.
“There are just over two months left before the start of the heating season. Therefore, energy workers and repairmen are working day and night to restore and return as many damaged capacities to the energy system as quickly as possible,” said DTEK Energo CEO Ildar Saleev.
According to him, the company’s employees will partially succeed, but the scale of the destruction is so extensive that they will continue restoration in the same mode throughout the winter and in the coming years, as comprehensive restoration requires.
