During the Russian airstrike on Ukraine's energy system on the night of March 29, objects belonging to Naftogaz were affected. However, there were no serious damages.
"Fortunately, none of our employees were harmed, the situation is under control. The Naftogaz group continues to fulfill its obligations to all clients," said Naftogaz Chairman Oleksiy Chernyshov.
On the night of March 29, Russian forces struck at fuel and energy sector objects in Ukraine, releasing 99 aerial attack assets. Air defense forces shot down 84 Russian targets.
According to the Ministry of Energy's press service, Russian forces attacked energy objects in the Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions with drones and missiles. Equipment damage was recorded.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, thermal generation facilities were shelled. Additionally, Russian forces targeted an energy object in Ivano-Frankivsk region, where equipment was damaged.
