During the month, Poland imported 1.27 thousand tons of Ukrainian products (+1.8% month-on-month), Italy — 1.48 thousand tons (+6.8 times month-on-month), Turkey — 3 thousand tons (+2 times month-on-month), and Algeria — 3 thousand tons (no shipments in September).

GMK Center recalls that in 2024, Ukrainian ferroalloy plants reduced production by 49.4% year-on-year, to 108.2 thousand tons. The industry resumed operations in April–May after a forced shutdown in autumn 2023.

As a result, annual ferroalloy exports that year fell by 77.5% compared to 2023 — from 344.17 thousand tons to 77.32 thousand tons. In 2022, this figure was 349.56 thousand tons, and in 2021 — 668.54 thousand tons.
