According to the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business (UCAB), the number of ships loaded this week was 19 units.

"During the 25th week of operation of the "grain corridor" from January 16 to 22, 2023, 894 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through the sea ports of the Odessa region, which is 82% more than the shipments through this channel a week ago. At the same time, the number of ships that were loaded during this week was the same - 19 units."

The increase in export volumes with the same number of vessels was achieved by prioritizing large-tonnage vessels. This decision was made due to the deliberate sabotage by the Russian side of vessel inspections in the Bosphorus, resulting in a consistently large queue of over 100 vessels. Therefore, to increase the volume of exports, preference is given to large vessels.

The most significant export volumes during the 25th week of operation of the "grain corridor" were:

  • corn (47% of exports during this period);
  • wheat (32%);
  • rape (10%).

Ukrainian products went to the countries of Asia (China, Turkey, India), Europe (Spain, Germany, Belgium) and Africa (Ethiopia, Libya).

In total, since the start of the "grain corridor" from August 1, 2022 to January 22, 2023, we managed to export 18.3 million tons of agricultural products to our foreign partners.
