The programme will feature "Waltzes, Polkas, Marches" by Johann Strauss - the conductor of Viennese court balls, "the king of waltzes". For many years, the Hobart Earl orchestra have continued to bring a festive mood to Odessa residents and guests of the city with Strauss's music
After the concerts of the National Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra and Hobart Earle, the Viennese newspaper Die Presse wrote:
Earle and his orchestra have learned almost perfectly the language of the Viennese waltz. Earl subtly reproduced the elegant waltz paintings and managed to create a mood for the audience with exquisite phrasing.

And in 2010, after the tour of the orchestra, the newspaper "Herald of the Tribunes" noted that the performance of Strauss's works by Odessa musician and the maestro had become the best in Austria over the past few years.
It was Johann Strauss who "raised" dance music to symphonic heights, and later made Gershwin with jazz. And it was in the work of Strauss that the Viennese waltz gained immortality.
