The non-governmental organization 'Communications for Change' has created the informational project UAQA, which will help Ukrainians to substantively answer foreigners' questions about Ukraine and its relations with Russia.
According to the creators of the platform, foreigners continue to be interested in the reasons for the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia. However, in their search for useful information, they often encounter false narratives originating from Russia.
The project cooperates with the Center for Strategic Communication and Information Security under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Detector Media online publication. We use only verified information and express it in plain language.
On the website, you can find information with answers to many acute and controversial questions, which were selected based on the results of surveys of Ukrainians living abroad. The creators of the platform also oriented themselves towards analyzing the information field of Europe.
Among the questions for which answers can be found on the platform:
- Why is it important to strengthen sanctions against Russia?
- Why did the war start?
- Are there Nazis in Ukraine?
- Why are Ukrainians and Russians not “fraternal” peoples?
The website features a section where you can leave your question and receive a professional and well-founded answer to it. UAQA also provides advice on how to effectively communicate with foreigners and provides links to reliable sources where you can obtain in-depth information on many popular inquiries.
