According to the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Russia is experiencing deep crisis processes in the coal industry, oil refining, construction, automotive industry, and logistics. These sectors account for about 17% of the total revenue of the Russian federal budget.

Currently, 52% of the economy is in a state of real stagnation, primarily affecting the manufacturing sector.

The main reason is that over 40% of Russian enterprises have liabilities that are three times greater than their profits. Meanwhile, working capital increasingly depends on accounts payable, as bank lending is both too expensive and practically inaccessible.

To hide the real statistical data and prevent panic in Russian society about the financial situation, Russia has classified information on the economy and foreign trade as state secrets. From now on, only selective, government-favorable indicators will be published to reassure the public.
