In the Kherson region, more than 207 km of anti-drone protection has been installed on strategically important routes. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.
“Special attention is given to the most difficult directions and the most vulnerable sections of roads between communities in Kherson region, as well as in the regional center itself. Work continues on other sections. These works are funded by state and regional budgets,” the head of government noted. “Logistics security is one of the important factors of the resilience of the Defense Forces. Especially in a region where Russian terror against civilians has taken the form of a safari, devoid of any morality.”
In total, more than 887 km of anti-drone protection have been installed in frontline regions since the beginning of 2026.
In addition, during May and June, almost 198 km of roads have been restored in areas close to the front line.
“Every protected kilometer of road means saved lives, safe supply to units, and evacuation of the wounded,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine emphasized.
