This year, the festival will begin on Ukraine’s Independence Day with the author’s project “VLASNE. Ukrainian Project. Four Centuries of Ukrainian Music: From Bortnyansky to Vakarchuk.” The project will present Ukraine’s musical heritage, spanning from 18th-century classical music to contemporary compositions.
Throughout the festival, audiences can look forward to performances by top opera voices of the country, a conductor parade, and appearances by star guests. Visitors will have the chance to enjoy iconic musical works in one of Europe’s most beautiful theaters.
