Units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck three elements of Russia's air defence system on Russian territory on Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday, as well as a Russian logistics depot in the occupied part of the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system was struck near Rzhava in Russia's Kursk region, along with a radar station near the village of Maloye Gorodkovo. In the Bryansk region, an electronic warfare station near Semyachki was also targeted.

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian logistics depot near Valerianivka in the occupied part of the Donetsk region.

"Every air defence system, radar or electronic warfare station that is hit creates a temporary gap in Russia's air defence network. The more such gaps there are, the greater the opportunities for the Defence Forces to deploy unmanned systems at all levels," the General Staff stated.
