Since the launch of the Grain from Ukraine programme, Ukraine and its partners have delivered 290,000 tons of agricultural products to countries facing hunger and food crises.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this on Facebook.
The food aid has been delivered to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
More than 20 million people have received assistance.
“Grain from Ukraine is Ukraine’s humanitarian food programme supporting the peoples of Africa and Asia. Ukraine, together with international partners, supplies Ukrainian agricultural products (grain, oil, flour) to people facing hunger.
