The event organizers arranged a holiday for people who were forced to move to our city from other settlements of the country - Mariupol, Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Chernihiv and Mykolaiv. People came with their whole families, and some even with pets.
The Odessans responded to the request of the organizers to support the Ukrainians who came from the hot spots by handing over essential items for them. They brought household appliances, clothes, bed linen, toys, construction sets for children, food, and even amulets.
“Emotions are very important. That is why we have live music here with a violin, a lot of soap bubbles, and fruits with sweets for children,†said Yulia Fedorova, one of the organizers. “Thanks to our friends, we managed to find a cozy corner in the shade of trees at General Petrov, 33, where no one bothered anyone.â€
The event is scheduled to take place every Sunday.
