The State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting continues to maintain the State Register of Publishers, Manufacturers, and Distributors of Publishing Products.
Throughout 2023, 302 entities in the publishing industry were added to the State Register, including 270 new entries and 32 renewals. In comparison with previous years, 293 entities were added to the State Register in 2021, and 152 entities in 2022.
During 2023, 5 certificates were annulled due to the cessation of publishing activities. Over the entire period of maintaining the State Register, which has been in operation since 2000, a total of 1216 certificates have been annulled.
According to information from the Book Chamber of Ukraine, the production of publishing products also increased this year. Compared to the previous year, the number of publications (printed units) increased by 73%, and the circulation increased by 203%.
