Swedish environmental activist expressed support for Palestine and Gaza. After the Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg voiced her support for Palestinians in Gaza, the Israeli Ministry of Education decided to remove mentions of her from educational materials. This was reported by the Israeli publication Ynet.

"Hamas is a terrorist organization that destroyed and killed 1,400 innocent Israelis, including children, women, and the elderly, and kidnapped more than 200 people to Gaza. This position deprives her (Greta Thunberg) of the right to serve as a model of moral and educational values. She no longer has the right to be used as a source of inspiration and education for Israeli students," said the statement from the Israeli Ministry of Education.

On October 20, Greta Thunberg announced a strike on social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram, in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza. She called for an end to the violence and posted a photo of herself holding a sign in support of Gaza.

She also wrote: "The world needs to speak up and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians affected".

It should be noted that school administrations in Israel, the United Kingdom, and the United States have advised parents to delete their children's social media accounts to prevent them from viewing videos featuring hostages taken by Hamas militants in Israel, in case such videos are circulated.
