In Kharkiv, a repeated Russian strike killed 5 rescuers

In Kharkiv, during firefighting efforts after a Russian strike, the Russian forces launched a repeated attack against SES emergency responders. As a result of the strike, five service members were killed.

This was reported by Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

According to the minister, at least five more rescuers were injured. The strike occurred while they were performing official duties at the site of a fire caused by a previous attack.

According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, around 22:40 on June 14, another UAV strike was recorded in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv. As a result, a fire broke out at a civilian enterprise. SES units began dealing with the aftermath of the attack. Around 01:30 on June 15, the Russian forces struck the Kholodnohirskyi district again. According to monitoring channels, this time the Russians used three missiles.

According to updated information, four State Emergency Service rescuers and one civil protection specialist from the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration were killed.
