Counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a resident of one of the border villages of Chernihiv region, who was passing on intelligence to the enemy about the movement and deployment of units of the Armed Forces in the region.
The investigation established that the 32-year-old woman established relations with the Russian occupiers after the start of the full-scale invasion.
After the liberation of the territory, it continued cooperation with the enemy, collecting data on the location of the defense forces, the storage of weapons and military equipment, the placement of checkpoints, and the movement of military convoys.
The perpetrator passed the collected information to the occupiers with the help of one of the messengers for a monetary reward.
During the searches, the detained law enforcement officials seized means of communication with evidence of correspondence with a representative of the Russian special services.
So far, SBU investigators have informed her about the suspicion. The accomplices of the occupiers were chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
Investigations were carried out by employees of the SBU Office in the Chernihiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
