Due to emergency repairs, traffic will be stopped from the evening of December 6 until the morning of December 12.

In the Odessa region, traffic through the railway crossing on the highway to Bucharest (Romania) will be closed for almost a week. The Road Service in the Odessa region reported this.

It is noted that traffic will be stopped on December 6 from 23:00 to the morning (05:00) on December 12.

Traffic will be closed for all types of transport on the M-15 Odessa-Reni road (in Bucharest), near the village of Sarata.

“Given a large number of complaints regarding traffic jams, the condition of the coating at the railway crossing, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia will carry out emergency repair work.The work aims to eliminate the emergency situation at the crossing near the village of Sarata by raising the tracks, aligning the crossing profile of the crossing section and allowing transport to cross the specified section at a higher speed."

The pavement will also be repaired at the crossing on the approaches to it.

"For the duration of the work, the detour will be carried out through the road of local significance O162235 and territorial significance T-16-43, along the route of Yaroslavka and Kulevcha villages in both directions (to the cities of Izmail and Odessa)," the service said.

It is noted that this detour route is the shortest and has a satisfactory road surface condition.

Patrol police forces will assist in places of bypasses for additional information and redirection of the traffic flow.

Road users will be informed about the detour route using traffic signs.

Also, the road builders unveiled the scheme of the detour of the railway crossing.
