In Ternopil region, a ground-based robotic complex called "Murakha" has been developed for the military. The head of the "Robotic Complexes" project, Igor Chaikivskyi, shared this information with the "Suspilne" publication.

According to him, the remotely controlled device can cover distances of up to 15 kilometers and more. The "Murakha" complex consists of 80% Ukrainian-manufactured components.

"After the 'Murakha' robotic complex, the next one will be smaller. It's the 'Minion' complex, which is four times smaller and more compact," the developers explained.

The "Murakha" complex was created to remotely evacuate fighters from the battlefield and transport water, food, or other cargoes.

It is named so because it weighs 350 kilograms but can carry a ton of cargo.

"It is a quite powerful evacuation system. It operates on one or two electric batteries with a capacity of 6, 8, or 13.6 kW. Such a system should be sufficient for approximately 30-40 kilometers. It will also be complemented by radio communication and video surveillance systems," says the project manager.

The complex has "forward" and "reverse" functions, as well as a "turn in place" function in both directions. "Murakha" can be charged from an electrical outlet or a generator.

One of the interesting engineering solutions is the trap sides, designed and developed by Ukrainian engineers.

The sides can be easily transformed into ramps so that this platform can be lifted off the pickup or driven back onto it.

The approximate cost of the complete complex will be within the range of 620,000 to 650,000 hryvnias, depending on equipment.
