The number of deaths from the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia on Tuesday, November 5, has risen to eight people, with nine others injured and currently in hospitals, reported the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"Nine people injured from yesterday's Russian attack on the regional center are in medical facilities in Zaporizhzhia. Two individuals – a 44-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man – are in critical condition. The condition of the other seven victims is assessed as serious. Unfortunately, a woman who was brought to the hospital in critical condition has passed away," he wrote on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
Earlier reports had stated seven deaths and 25 injuries.
On the morning of November 5, 2024, Russian troops launched a missile attack on civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia. One of the critical infrastructure facilities was damaged.
