In June of this year, the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe completed the delivery of a trial batch of special thick-walled pipes for the Australian manufacturer of premium drilling equipment, Harlsen Industries. This was reported by the company's press service.
According to the announcement, this order, with stringent quality requirements for pipes, was fulfilled in cooperation with a German partner. For shipping and customs clearance to Australia, Interpipe engaged a logistics company from the Netherlands.
"The Australian client has been purchasing pipes from the European Union for years but decided to explore suppliers from other regions. Interpipe is already known worldwide, and we were invited to cooperate because of our stance on sustainable development and integrated supply chain," commented Ivan Mazanka, Director of Pipe Sales for European markets.
He also noted that the order was challenging for the company:
"The production and logistics processes were non-standard, so we involved partners in Europe. The quality of the final product is crucial for the client's operational safety. At the same time, successfully executing this order could open doors to other consumers in Australia."
