The invaders drop grenades on the Ukrainian military from drones. To protect themselves and hold their positions, the Marines of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine work in chemical protection equipment.
Russian invaders are using banned chloropicrin grenades "K-51" against the Ukrainian military in the east.
The press service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.
âThe terrorist state is using banned chemical weapons â K-51 aerosol grenades. Invaders are dropping chloropicrin grenades from drones on our defenders in the east. To protect themselves from the strong irritant effect of prohibited ammunition, the Marines hold their positions in chemical protective equipment," the message says.
It is noted that even in such conditions, the fighters continue to resist the insidious enemy. No matter what terrorist methods the Russian invaders resort to, the marines will destroy them with even greater zeal.
K-51 was developed in the 1970s in the USSR. After the fuse starts burning, a reaction occurs inside the grenade: the burning substance increases the pressure inside the case and knocks out the bottom of the grenade, spraying a cloud of chemicals.
An enemy caught in an aerosol cloud, without a gas mask, cannot resist and fire as the hands reflexively reach out to the face to rub their eyes. The respiratory tract is permeated with shortness of breath with a cough, and the nasal sinuses are filled with mucus.
