This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk in her Telegram channel.
"In the temporarily occupied Donetsk, a fictitious court of terrorists" sentenced "three servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Aiden Aslin, Shaun Pinner, Brahim Saaudun. They are foreigners, but they do not stop being Ukrainian servicemen.
The organizers are well aware of the legal insignificance of their court and its consequences. Even the Russian court did not get dirty with such a lawsuit and passed it to a group of impostors in Donetsk.
They aim to terrorize Western public opinion by threatening to shoot three hostages. But, we should not be led to hysterics of impostors.
Of course, I don't know what's in the terrorists' minds. However, something suggests that, one way or another, sooner or later, we will exchange these three servicemen, or they will otherwise get home.
We are dealing with professional terrorists who, in the end, act rationally. Therefore, you should talk to them calmly and professionally. Because they are well aware of the irreparable consequences for them and for the Russians that their erroneous actions against these three of our servicemen can lead to,â said Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
