Japan is considering the possibility of opening Asian markets for Ukrainian agricultural products, particularly poultry, as stated by the Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, Kuninori Matsuda, during a meeting with the Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Taras Vysotsky.
This initiative was highlighted as an important step for bilateral relations and business development.
Taras Vysotsky emphasized that the opening of Asian markets for Ukrainian agri-products is crucial for bilateral relations and business development.
Also, he noted that Japanese advanced technologies enable the implementation of efficient solutions for cultivating various types of agricultural produce. Partnering with Japanese companies to apply these technologies in Ukraine would enhance fruit and vegetable yields.
Vysotsky further remarked, "Japanese companies have developed a range of advanced technologies for effective cultivation of various types of agricultural produce in different challenging climatic conditions. For Ukraine, as one of the leaders in global food security, it is important to establish partnerships and cooperation with Japanese entrepreneurs to increase the yield of greenhouse-grown products."
