The State Agency of Ukraine for Land Reclamation, Fisheries, and Food Programs discussed prospects for cooperation in hydraulic land reclamation and the development of Ukrainian irrigation systems with a representative of the Japanese company NTC Int. Co., Ltd.
During the meeting, both sides explored opportunities to implement innovative technological solutions to enhance the efficiency and development of Ukraine’s irrigation systems. In particular, they discussed using advanced materials for the restoration and construction of reclamation structures.
Ukrainian and Japanese specialists are currently jointly testing a modern technological solution designed to create a more economical and efficient material for building irrigation systems. Pilot trials are underway at the Kirovohrad branch of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Hydro-Reclamation Systems.” The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude to the Japanese partners for their support, solidarity, and friendly attitude during Ukraine’s struggle against Russian aggression.
“Japanese assistance is not only a demonstration of technical partnership but also a true sign of friendship between our peoples. We deeply appreciate Japan’s willingness to share experience, innovations, and resources that contribute to the recovery and development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector even in the most challenging times,” emphasized Ihor Klymenok, head of the State Agency for Fisheries.
