Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, spoke at the Forum of Russian Volunteers.

In his address, the head of Ukrainian intelligence noted that the limited military operation against the oppositional armed formations in the Belgorod and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation is just the beginning of the fight for their native country.

"Citizens of the Russian Federation have decided to liberate their country from the old man and his henchmen who usurped power, illegally changed the Constitution, and live in an alternative reality with their cronies. The war against the Putin regime is the legitimate right of citizens to demand justice," said Kyrylo Budanov.

He stated that the so-called Putin elections are illegitimate.

"Whatever result the Russian Central Election Commission writes - it's fake, as elections did not take place not only in the border regions. A large number of polling stations will not have the opportunity to count the ballots because Russian activists, realizing the deceitfulness of these 'elections,' spoil them," noted the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

He added that a real "revolt of ballot boxes" has begun in Russia - such a quantity of spoiled ballots and ballot boxes has never been seen anywhere in the world.

"Putin understands that in the eyes of world leaders, primarily the PRC, he is becoming an unstable ruler who cannot ensure order in his own country's elections. He shows himself as weak before his people and elites. Weakness is what he fears the most. What is happening in the Russian Federation now weakens the regime as a whole and Putin personally. We must use this weakness and make it an additional weapon," emphasized Kyrylo Budanov.
