"The Shukhevych Museum, which was destroyed due to a Russian drone attack, will not be restored until the end of the war," announced Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

Experts have completed the scanning of the rubble for future restoration and an international tribunal. Today, communal services, together with specialists, will begin clearing the debris.

"After this, we will announce an architectural competition. The submission of proposals and the determination of the winner will take approximately 2 months," said Andriy Sadovyi.

The reconstruction of the museum will take place after the end of the war, as the funds are currently planned to be allocated for the army.

As a result of the attack, 16 museum exhibits belonging to the Museum Fund of Ukraine were destroyed. Several hundred museum exhibits were successfully preserved, having been evacuated at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

On January 1, Russian forces launched drone strikes on the Lviv region. Due to the debris from the "Shahed" drone, the museum dedicated to the General-Hetman of the UPA Roman Shukhevych in Bilohorshcha was destroyed. The university in Dubliany was also damaged.
